Upcoming Shows!

On Wednesday, May 9, we are having our regular scheduled hour long show at 6:00 CT. Please come and join us as we discuss topics such as the surprise return of Roger Clemens to the Yankees and the Cardinals' wild fall to the bottom of the NL Central and other big baseball stories.

Then, on Friday May 11, we have none other than MLBlogs' own Zack Hample. Zack is a good friend of mine and I'm honored that he would come on to my show. We have another hour long special show just about Zack at 6:00 CT. It will go an hour, as well. We'll be talking about his new book, which I have read and loved, and about his 3,000th ball, which he should get on May 7 if everything goes to plan.

Not once, not twice, but three times I've seen
A saddened and lost and confused scene
The first, a man with a voice heard by plenty
His personality brought together many
The second, an athlete with talent galore
Who was a friend of his teammates and by the fans adored
The third and most recent hit everyone hard again
It was a man and an athlete who brought cheer to the most serious men
All three were great friends and close to all others
Teammates, fathers, friends, and brothers
Jack Buck, Darryl Kile, and now Josh Hancock, rest in peace
But your memories you left us will never, ever cease

Special Show Scheduled

In honor of the late Josh Hancock, I have scheduled a special show tonight at 6:00 Central Time. We will discuss the career of Hancock and the effect his death will have the team. After the loss Darryl Kile five years ago, this comes as a new, huge blow to the Cardinals. As a Cardinals fan myself, I can say that the Cardinal nation is in shock.
A very sad day indeed.
Please call in and express your thoughts and condolences to the family of the late Josh Hancock.
Rest in peace, Josh.

WELCOME TO THE CORAL AND BRADY ON BASEBALL SHOW!

My name is Brady Holzhauer, and my co-host is Coral Marshall from the MLBlog, West Coast College Student Looking for East Coast Baseball Knowledge. (Click Here). Our show is all about baseball and everything involved with it. We have two shows under our belt already, and we still have a lot to learn about the Internet Radio business, but we are working hard to bring an enjoyable and informing baseball radio show. We currently use www.blogtalkradio.com as our method to do a show, and it works great. If you want to see our Host Page with more information, go to www.blogtalkradio.com/coralandbradyonbaseball. You can listen to any of our archived shows on that page, and view our upcoming shows under "schedule." The most RECENT archived show, in this case being this previous Wednesday's show, will appear here on the small menu bar to your left. It is an hour long show, so make sure you have some time on your hands. We are looking to bring in guests who have a story to tell or someone prominent in the baseball world.

Anyway, I hope to see you listen to our show and post comments here as to what you think. We are trying to get rid of the growing pains of starting a radio show with no previous experience out of the way early on, and we have had a few mistakes and few technical difficulties but we overcame then and we felt like our second and most recent show went very, very well as it went on.

Well, I know Coral is busy, so it will likely be me updating this blog with show info for you all.
